SAN JOSE, Calif. (May 28, 2010) - Dolce Hayes Mansion here and three other Dolce hotels and resorts – Aspen Meadows Resort in Colorado, Lakeway Resort and Spa in Texas and Dolce Sitges in Spain – have been ranked among the world’s best hotels on this year’s Expedia Insiders’ Select™ list.
The list formally recognizes individual hotels worldwide that “consistently deliver excellent service, a great overall experience and a notable value.” The full list represents a small percentage of the world’s top hotels from the more than 110,000 hotel properties offered on www.expedia.com, an online travel site used by millions of travelers each month.
The 2010 Expedia Insiders’ Select list was compiled using a mathematical formula that weighed three factors: 1) more than one million traveler opinions from reviews submitted by Expedia customers after completing a stay; 2) a value rating that compares each hotel’s average daily rate to similar properties to assess their relative value; and 3) the expertise of more than 400 Expedia market managers located in cities worldwide. Details are available at www.expedia.com/insidersselect.
“Delivering superior service, outstanding cuisine and a memorable experience are the top priorities of all Dolce hotels, resorts and conference hotels,” said Cedric Fasbender, Dolce regional vice president and general manager of Dolce Hayes Mansion. “We are pleased that our efforts have been acknowledged by Expedia travelers, who confirm our high marks from independent satisfaction surveys.”
